Promoting diversity in the workplace
Having signed the United Nations Global Compact, Altran has pursued its commitment concerning its social responsibility by signing the Diversity Charter in France, Spain and Italy. Altran undertakes to defend and promote diversity in all its forms within the company and to take an active role in fighting all forms of discrimination.
A committed actor
As an economic player, Altran must be able to offer the technological solutions to meet the demands of modern-day society. Through the Altran Foundation for Innovation and several forms of competence sponsorship, Altran wishes to further its civil commitment by mobilising and federating the strengths of the Group with a focus on creative and innovative projects.
Solidarity initiatives are regularly developed in the countries in which the Group is active:
- Collection of toys for the benefit of local charities in seven countries in December 2011
- Development of actions dealing with social, environmental and health issues by the Somos MASS team at Altran Spain
- Collection and sales initiatives for the benefit of associations and NGOs in France (Restos du cœur, Telethon, etc.)
- Support for Unicef and the association “Luftfahrt ohne Grenzen” from Altran Germany
- Participation of Altran Italy in the "Sodalitas Social Awards"
