Involvement in global challenges
Altran calls on the competences of its employees to propose innovative and more environmentally-friendly solutions and to contribute to the efforts made in taking up major global challenges. The spearhead of this commitment is the Group's involvement in the Solar Impulse adventure, reflecting Altran's desire to contribute to the development of efficient and sustainable energy and mobility solutions through innovation.
A smaller carbon footprint
Altran is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and increasing the awareness of its employees. This commitment to respect the environment can be seen in the initiatives and action programmes implemented in the countries in which the Group is present:
- Altran Spain has been awarded ISO 14001 certification
- Altran Italy has participated in the Carbon Disclosure Project for the third year running
- Altran Belgium obtained the third level of the "Eco-dynamic Company" label in 2011 and has won the Belgian Energy and the Environment prize for its "Smart Move" mobility project
- Altran Sweden trains its employees in environmental issues (92% of employees trained in 2010)
