Mobility

The diversity of our businesses and the international character of our operations give real meaning to the concept of career path. Our policy on functional and/or geographic mobility offers our employees the opportunity to develop their skills and gain additional experience.

To this end, we created at the end of 2005 the program “Mov’ Altran”. The program encourages mobility within the Group by advertising job opportunities for Altran employees on the intranet.

The desire for mobility is often second nature to our employees and one of the reasons they chose Altran. This is why our Human Resources team developed specific support measures that facilitate our employees’ international mobility.

Meeting the challenges of internal mobility

Functional and/or geographic mobility is a major factor in Altran’s growth and is guided by five key strategies:

  • encourage and satisfy employees’ desires for mobility within the Group. Our European operations and the Group’s development in Asia, North and South America, and Eastern Europe provide our employees with many career opportunities;
  • optimise and streamline the acquisition and development of skills within the Group’s countries and companies;
  • support the Group’s development strategies with the goal of anticipating and meeting our clients’ needs;
  • promote cross-fertilisation among our teams of consultants and account managers;
  • identify and reward exceptional and high-potential skills or growth engines for the Group and our clients.

Facilitating mobility

Regularly updated, job vacancies can be consulted on the Group’s intranet by all employees. The Mobility Team and the Human Resources departments assist employees in the transfer process and with immigration, social security, tax and security issues in the host country.
