| Jacques-Henri, a few years ago you were in charge of Altran Consultants in Renault F1 Team. How would you compare this experience to your current position? Being part of one of the most challenging competition in the world is very exciting… especially when we win! For me, the most important was to support our partner Renault F1 Team by giving the best of us: excellence, technology expertise and team spirit.
Today my role is to define and implement the strategy for Altran CEE. My goal is to ensure short-term performance along with long-term sustainability of the firm by: As in Formula 1, we make this happen through our pleasure to win and our passion for technology and innovation!
Why did Altran choose to develop branches in Central and Eastern Europe?
The countries of Central and Eastern Europe show a great industrial dynamism (more than 5% economic growth). We decided to partner local and international companies of Central and Eastern Europe and make them benefit from this growth. What do you do for fun? Sport has always been a strong part of my personal balance. Even when I’m busy, I always find some time for activities such as running or fencing. In 2005, my wife and I participated the French National Context Fencing (our team finished 3rd).
I appreciate wine as well. When I travel I am always happy to discover culture through local production such as wine.
Music is also one of my personal interests. I play the piano, but only for my friends.
What advice would you give to candidates applying to Altran? We deliver performance, which means we focus on providing the best solutions to our clients.
