FIRST SEMESTER OF 1998 : A 52% INCREASE OF THE CONSOLIDATED TURNOVER COMPARED TO THE FIRST SEMESTER OF 1997.
The consolidated turnover for the first semester of 1998 amounts to 1.264 MFRF, compared with 827 MFRF for the first semester of 1997 (+52%). Excluding the impact of the 1997 and 1998 acquisitions, the consolidated turnover would have reached 1.101 MFRF, which corresponds to an internal growth of 36%.
During the second quarter of 1998, the ALTRAN Group acquired a Spanish technology consulting firm with 110 staff, whose contribution to the first semester consolidated turnover is immaterial due to the date of the acquisition.
The European subsidiaries consolidated turnover for the first semester of 1998 amounts to 303 MFRF, an increase of 164% in comparison with the first semester 1997, and represents 24% of the ALTRAN Group consolidated turnover.
The first semester consolidated turnover almost doubled between 1996 and 1998.
The estimated consolidated turnover for the entire year 1998 is expected to exceed 2.600 MFRF, of which 650 MFRF should be generated by foreign subsidiaries.
