Yves de Chaisemartin, Chief Executive Officer
Yves de Chaisemartin, 60, is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since June 2008. Before 2008, he was successively Chairman of the Supervisory Board from July 2005 to September 2006, then Chairman of the Altran Group’s Management Board.
Yves de Chaisemartin spent the first part of his career with the Robert Hersant Media group, now known as Socpresse, a holding company with 70 media in Europe, particularly "Le Figaro" in France. He served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in 1986, Chief Executive Officer, then Chairman & Chief Executive Officer and lastly, Chairman of the Management Board, a position which he held until 30 September 2004.
During the same period, he also served as Chairman of the Management Board of Le Figaro, Chief Executive of the TV channel "La Cinq", of wich he had the responsibility for the European subsidiaries (in Spain, Belgium, Poland, the Czech Republic, etc.).
A law graduate, Yves de Chaisemartin worked as a lawyer from 1972 to 1986. He has also been Chairman of the Parisian press syndicate (Syndicat de la Presse Parisienne) and served on the Board of the regional press syndicate (Syndicat de la Presse Régionale). Today, in addition to his responsibilites within Altran, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rodin Museum in Paris, an acting Director of Groupe Rossel (which publishes the Belgian newspaper Le Soir) and a Director of the Est Républicain daily newspaper group in Nancy as well as the "Voix du Nord" daily press in Lille.
Yves de Chaisemartin is married with four children and enjoys sailing and riding. He is an Officier de la Légion d'Honneur.
