Main facts
In Asia, the Altran Group has a presence in Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Malaysia and India. Since 2001, Arthur D. Little Asia has been looking after strategy and management consulting, while Altran Technologies has been responsible for technology and innovation consulting. The Altran Group in Asia has developed competency clusters in telecommunications, transport, energy and finance. It aims both to help its international customers to develop in the region and to provide technological expertise for local customers.
The Group works with international customers on:
 the development of R&D centres in China,
 the identification, evaluation and management of local suppliers in China, Thailand, Taiwan, etc.
the provision of level-1 support to local customers for telecoms solutions in China and Japan,
the integration of railway-system tests in Korea and Singapore.
In Asia, Altran works with local customers on:
the organisation of R&D in China and Japan,
the evaluation of technological projects (due diligence) with a view to investment in Japan, Korea and China,
merger and acquisition projects in Hong Kong and Taiwan,
the provision of technological expertise throughout Asia in the areas of telecommunications, transport and energy.
