Main facts
Growth and diversification have been the main watchwords of Altran's presence in Germany since 1996 and in Austria since 1999. Regional development began with 90 employees and projects in the automotive, satellite technology and construction sectors. In 2009 the former subsidiaries of Altran in Germany, Askon ConsultingGroup, Berata, Eurospace and Altran CIS merged to form Altran GmbH & Co. KG. There are currently around 1,300 employees in Germany in the Technology and R&D Consulting division and the Organisation and Information System Consulting division. Altran Österreich GmbH has a workforce of around 50 in the Organisation & Information System Consulting division.
Thanks to our technology transfer and the skills and commitment of our employees, Altran is now able to offer clients a comprehensive consultancy service and a close partnership at every stage of the innovation and project life cycle.
In Germany, where Altran is now established at 16 locations, annual turnover stands at Eur 150.5 million in 2008. Altran provides consultancy services to many renowned clients including Airbus, Audi, Bosch, BMW, Carl Zeiss, Continental, Porsche, Vodafone and Volkswagen.
Boasting international clients and connections, Altran in Germany and Austria is a key contributor to the success of the Altran Group. Our goal is to maintain and build on our leading role in the German-speaking market.
