| 1. After 5 years with Altran, you now are in charge of a brand-new office in the Netherlands. Yes. I have a background in mechanical engineering that led me to work in Product Management, where I dealt predominantly in sales, marketing, product development and manufacturing. And now, I am responsible of the management of the Eindhoven office of Altran Technologies in the Netherlands, which opened in November 2006 and counts 23 consultants. 2. Internationalism was one of the main reasons that led you to choose Altran? There are several reasons why I chose Altran: first, the company’s focus on innovation; second, the ‘outlook’ of the group in terms of market value. And lastly, the fact that Altran is a big international company. In my team alone, there are 14 nationalities between 23 consultants!! It is fascinating to be working with such a varied group of people. 3. Were there any critical moments during your career? I would not say critical, but important. And that was of course the first year when one has to learn a new way of working and you get the full responsibility of developing a profitable activity. 4.You seem to look positively on what lies ahead. Yes. I am certainly looking forward to developing the Eindhoven office into a sustainable team of at least 100 people, which should enable the office to expand on its work at the client’s site by developing internally for clients. I am also confident that as the cooperation between the different companies of the group grows, the group’s position on the market will become always stronger. 5. In a sense, working here has made you an optimist! Yes. It has taught me to carry responsibility, give focus to what I do, and… never give up! 4.
