Arnaud François-Xavier Martin has a degree in mechanical engineering with a specialisation in aerospace science and technology. He began his career as a structural calculations engineer before starting his own consultancy firm in 1997, specialising in mechanical calculations. In 2000, after his firm merged with the MSC Software Group, Arnaud François-Xavier Martin was appointed CEO of the French subsidiary of Product Design Engineering Services.
He then joined the consultancy firm Eurosim as Deputy Director. In 2006, when Eurosim was merged with the Segula Technologies Group, he became the General Manager for automotive calculations and offshore platform activities.
In 2008, Arnaud François-Xavier Martin joined Altran to help develop its mechanical activities and take charge of projects run between Europe and India, in particular for Renault Nissan and Alstom Transport, before becoming Deputy Director for the Group's Mechanical Engineering Solution in 2011.
In his new role, which gives him responsibility for mechanical engineering activities in Southern Europe, Arnaud François-Xavier Martin is now charged with consolidating these activities, whilst optimising them in terms of profitability, and launching new activities, particularly in the railway and automotive sectors. In parallel, he has also been appointed to support Jean-Luc Hozé for the launch of the Group's PLM Solution as Global Solution Manager.
